In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Prepare the Sauce:
In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Serve:
Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
